This blog documents the art project 'Populating Veduta'. A performance and installation that concluded with an exhibition of 5' by 10' canvases and video panels created by artist Heather Cline. Influenced by the examination of historical painting, portraiture, cityscapes and historiography. The project documented people from the Cathedral neighbourhood of Regina, Saskatchewan. The paintings were accompanied by video shorts that shared stories from the people who inspired the paintings.
